DDOT Local Paving Contract

Delon Hampton & Associates (DHA) provided construction management and inspection services for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) for city-wide local pavement restoration. The projects involved milling and paving of roadways, restoration of and placement of new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, slurry seal, lane striping, and brickwork. DDOT’s goal is to create safe paths of travel within the city for all, and DHA supported the efforts to achieve that goal.

Our team consisted of a staff of ten managing, inspecting, and documenting construction activities. Our team introduced innovations to this contract, including the development of a mobile inspector daily report customized for this contract, and a project dashboard tool. Additionally, our staff interfaced with the community to inform them of upcoming construction and explain the benefits of the work.
