On December 11, 2017, Delon Hampton & Associates was recognized as a graduate of the BLocal BUILD program. The event took place at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture (Delon Hampton & Associates performed the civil engineering when the Museum was originally constructed).
The graduation was the culmination of a 13-week program in which our firm participated. The program targets the training and development of small, local, minority-owned, woman-owned, and/or disadvantaged Baltimore-based businesses in the design and construction industries. Training sessions focused on construction, design, and business related topics such as bidding work, legal/contracting, change management, project management, financial management/banking, human resources, business development, bonding/surety, insurance and safety/quality management. The training sessions were led by experienced personnel from some of the most respected businesses in Baltimore.
Delon Hampton & Associates is proud to stand beside our fellow Baltimore-area partners and congratulate all involved in a successful first year of this important initiative.
