Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Real Estate Manager.

The Real Estate Manager will provide expertise in the oversight of funded major capital transit projects. The REM will review plans for real estate acquisition and management and other supporting documentation to ensure that projects are being built safely, on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and guidelines, specifically with the Uniform Act. Candidate will serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert in appraisal, acquisition, relocation and real estate management on transit projects.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, public administration or related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of real estate acquisition & relocation experience with respect to the Uniform Act (appraisal, acquisition, relocation & property management)
  • Two (2) of the minimum 7 years must have been devoted to real estate oversight services
  • Proven experience with developing scope, scheduling, and budget/cost estimating, evaluating and tracking documents related to real estate
  • Extensive knowledge of FTA policy guidance related to real estate acquisition and Real Estate Management Plan (RAMP) requirements
  • Professional designation, right of way certification, or license related to real estate is desirable but not required
