The Quality Manager will be responsible for the development, direction, administration, monitoring, and coordination of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program Plan for the Tunnel Grouting Program. Candidate will assist in the planning, development, and control of major quality aspects. Provide oversight over the various contractors' quality programs. Incumbent will develop program-specific QA/QC Program Plan with representatives from the office of Quality and Internal Compliance Operations (QICO). Establish key performance quality indices for all aspects of the Tunnel Grouting Program. Issue non-conformance notices to contractors. Maintain and monitor the performance of the program against KPI's established. Arrange and conduct job site conferences with technical consultants. Approve or reject construction materials based on conformance.
Work is performed within a general office environment 40% of the time. Ability to work in confined spaces. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required 60% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
