Public Works Inspector II
Responsibilities
- Candidate will ensure that contractors comply with specifications, standards and codes for minor public construction projects by performing on-site inspections on highway, street, bridge, water and waste water systems facilities, or other complex construction projects
- Incumbent will receive moderate supervision from a technical superior
- Candidate will work a conventional workweek; some evening and weekend hours may be required
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Four years of experience performing construction inspection work on water and sewer system facilities and utilities
- Proficient with computer skills, Microsoft Office Suites and Primavera CM14
New employees MUST be fully vaccinated prior to their start date. Fully vaccinated means two weeks have passed since the final dose of a primary vaccine series.
Working Conditions
Work requires minimal physical exertion; however, there may be periods of prolonged standing or walking.
