Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Project Coordinator.


  • Provide administrative, secretarial, an clerical support for a project office;
  • Perform varied administrative office functions, maintains contract records, plans and specifications, and related engineering and administrative records; and
  • Work under direction of the Program Manager, who reviews work on the basis of daily informal contacts, reports, and conferences.


  • Knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge, of client’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures;
  • Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, arithmetic, and general office practices and procedures;
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in performing duties;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals with whom interface is required;
  • Ability to maintain complex files; and
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
