Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Office Engineer.

This position includes supporting the construction phase of projects for DC Water's Clean Rivers program.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull project data from Primavera Unifier system;
  • Compile and graph safety statistics;
  • Update construction management plans, document controls support;
  • Maintain project logs/reports;
  • Coordinate with program and construction staff; and
  • Other duties assigned by program managers.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • Entry level to three (3) years of engineering design and/or construction experience;
  • Experience with Oracle's Primavera Unifier or related web-based project management system is preferred;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work may be required 5% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.

New employees MUST be fully vaccinated prior to their start date. Fully vaccinated means two weeks have passed since the final dose of a primary vaccine series.
