Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Master Program Scheduler.

DHA is seeking: Master Program Scheduler to work approximately 30 hours a week.

The Master Program Scheduler shall prepare and maintain the Program Master Schedule. The schedule should be prepared in such fashion that should allow the activity summary hammocks to demonstrate a schedule summary. The scheduling approach shall include study and analyses of the sequence and phasing for timing A/E services, construction management, and the construction services contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update the master program schedule including, without limitation, client and subconsultant activities, and shall track the timing of the program according to the schedule's critical path requirements;
  • Prepare monthly status updates of the Master Program Schedule to present to the client;
  • Participate and advise in analysis and negotiation of claims as requested by client;
  • Support the client's project management staff with planning, scheduling and coordination of contracts;
  • Update data in the Procore system through direct input of contract related data or uploading data files;
  • Assist in the preparation of evaluation and provide critical analysis of project CPM schedules, including but not limited to, the review of contractor project baseline schedules, monthly progress schedules, weekly look-ahead schedules, time impact analysis, risk analysis, and tracking schedule conformance;
  • Assist in the monitoring of project activities, claims and change orders, progress reporting, payments, and other contract administration functions; and
  • Perform other project related duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Qualifications: (education, years of experience, certifications, drivers license)

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in construction of major complex projects and the ability to evaluate and develop complex schedules; 
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction project scheduling of varying complexities including integrated master schedules;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Primavera 6 (P6);
  • Knowledge of Procore or other document/project control systems.

Working Conditions 

Work is performed within a general office environment 75% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work may be required 25% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
