DHA is seeking a Civil Engineer with green infrastructure experience for a program management contract. Responsibilities for this contract include supporting design, construction, inspection, turnover, and operation of various facilities to support the completion of the DC Water projects. The projects include green infrastructure that support Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) control efforts. Engineers will assist in the preparation of studies, design documents, design review, contract estimation, and other efforts involved in the delivery of multiple projects to support DC Water. This assignment is currently three days a week in DC Water office and two days a week telework.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed within a general office environment about 80% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required about 20% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
New employees MUST be fully vaccinated prior to their start date. Fully vaccinated means two weeks have passed since the final dose of a primary vaccine series.
