Decontamination Inspector

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Decontamination Inspector.

Candidate shall have experience inspecting facilities, reading station and construction drawings, knowledge of the ADA regulations, and fluency in using Excel and Outlook.


  • Perform site inspections to confirm that the client's sanitation protocols for Covid 19 are being followed at client facilities and stations.
  • Completing an inspection checklist for all stations inspected;
  • Communicating and documenting inspection results in a constructive manner for resolution;
  • Verifying and documenting that any non-compliance issues have been fixed when notified by the responsible department;
  • Completing and submitting a monthly Quality Assurance (QA) report;


  • Graduate from high school;
  • Experience in inspection compliance; experience with sanitation protocols is preferred,
  • Must be able to pass a government background check;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products particularly in Excel.

Working Conditions 

Work is performed within a general office environment 20% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work may be required 80% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
