Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Project Manager/Energy Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Support the launch/development of the Authority's Enterprise Energy Management System as the link between the selected software vendor and Authority stakeholders
  • Develop and present monthly and quarterly energy and sustainability status and variance reports
  • Monitor and report on energy use and water use cost trends and ongoing integration of monthly data within the US Department of Energy's Energy Start Portfolio Manager application
  • Track supply side demand/capacity charge cost trends and identify cost control measures
  • Analyse utility consumption and pricing data, including establishing building/system level comparative analysis
  • Conduct life-cycle cost analysis of energy efficiency projects
  • Identify and recommend energy cost saving strategies
  • Ensure that energy software project progresses toward achieving cost control goals and objectives
  • Keep current with sustainability best practices relevant to improve the Authority's operation
  • Apply strategies to refine the acquisition of meter interval data and monthly invoiced data in coordination with the Authority's utilities (e.g. Dominion Virginia, Pepco)

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or related field
  • At least five years of related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with databases and financial systems
  • Experience working with energy, water, and/or waste data
  • Ability to maintain relationships with and clearly communicate complex data to diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications for analysis, documentation and presenations
