Candidate should have prior experience or exposure to other complex municipal infrastructure programs with a focus on hydraulic/green infrastructure/storm water design. Incumbent should be motivated to work independently with minimal direction; review data and develop well written reports, presentations, and other deliverables to present to the client. Candidate should be sufficiently proficient in AutoCAD to review civil plan sheets and details. Permitting and coordination experience within the District of Columbia is helpful. Proficiency with excel spreadsheet calculations for hydraulic design and District of Columbia stormwater regulations is preferred.

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 75% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required 25% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
