Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Change Management Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Update data in the ProCore system through direct input of contract related data or up-loading data files;
  • Assist in the development and preparation of project cost estimates and change order management including, but not limited to, the Project Manager or client assigned representative drafting the C-35a documents, pre-negotiation positions and/or contract modification packages;
  • Assist in the monitoring of project activities, claims and change orders, progress reporting, payments, and other contract administration functions; and
  • Perform other project related duties as assigned by the clients' Project Manager and/or Task Manager.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
  • A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in construction and/or transportation projects and the ability to evaluate and develop complex project estimates;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Primavera 6 (P6);
  • Familiarity with clients' construction standards, comfortable in a field and office work environment; and
  • Proficiency in MS office (all suites) and RS Means or other estimating references, and familiar with client's project management software system (PROCORE).

Working Conditions 

Work is performed within a general office environment 60% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work may be required 40% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
