Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Cargo Manager (Revenue Team).

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the existing structure of the Properties/Revenue Team at PHL to help drive Cargo Business growth at PHL, providing leadership and coordination of various internal and external organizations and people.
  • Anticipate the needs of current and future airport cargo tenants and work within the organization to deliver positive outcomes. Assist in problem solving in this context as well.
  • Ensure that complex, nuanced client needs are communicated to the appropriate internal stakeholders, and track progress;
  • Assist the Revenue Team leadership in identifying , managing and overcoming risks to the successful achievement of business goals;
  • Coordinate activities related to the PHL - Air Cargo Council (PACC), including building and maintaining relationships with current and future members. This will include working with the Properties/Revenue team in the programming for outreach events, coordinating communications in a group or 1:1 setting, and working to align goals of PHL with those of the PACC.
  • Serve as a key link with the Stakeholders, both internal to PHL (such as Properties/Revenue, Capital Development, Communications/Outreach, Finance, and Operations) and external (including but not limited to PACC members, Cargo tenants and developers (current and future), etc.)
  • Research and internally share trends in the cargo space, as well as and the ecosystem of potential business partners locally and in aviation.

Qualifications:

  • A BS or BA Degree;
  • 5-15 years of progressive professional experience;
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills;
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently to achieve organizational goals,
  • Ability to translate client needs into achievable outcomes and track progress;
  • Demonstrated ability to see the full picture, yet with the ability to work at the detail level;
  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability;
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and handle pressure that comes with this environment.
  • Aviation and/or Cargo/Freight experience a plus;
  • Position required to be in Philadelphia, and to work within and along with the PHL Airport Team. Actual days in the office and requirements will be flexible pursuant to COVID protocols and business needs.

New employees MUST be fully vaccinated prior to their start date. Fully vaccinated means two weeks have passed since the final dose of a primary vaccine series.
